New display module for audio monitoring unit AE2/S

May 12th, 2008

AE2/RCU-DIS is the new data monitoring module for the AE2/S multi channel mainframe. It provides visibility of all data of Dolby, DolbyE and SDI signals, i.e. bandwidth, metadata, resolution, coding format or the number of channels. AE2/RCU-DIS also provides system information and can be configured on demand fulfilling the specific needs of the client and/or installation.

The display remote module has the standard format with 80 * 190 mm and is free locatable from the monitoring unit mainframe. For the push-buttons and the data encoder any arbitrary configuration is possible.

In general, the remote control units for the AE2 series (AE2/RCU-…) have a modular design. The modules can be installed up to 100 m away from the mainframe and allow multiple combinations of different 6 modules. In remote installations it is possible with different frames to adapt the units to the environment in 19” or Tektronix to the requirements of the workspace. The modules have high-end Lumitas keys for maximum reliability. The keys can be configured on demand. So it is possible to realise consistent operation concepts at different places.
